Aaron Bedell has been part of the Center since the inception of Phase II. As part of the Sorensen group he was part of a team seeking to really challenge C-H functionalization techniques in complex molecular scaffolds.
Working in a collaborative team that included members from the Davies and Yu groups Aaron developed a concise synthesis of the core scaffold of the indoxamycin class of natural products exploiting sequential C-H functionalization strategies.
In 2016 Aaron graduated and took a position as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Du Bois group at Stanford University.
