Jessica was an undergraduate student in the MacBeth lab. As part of the first CSURP cohort, Jessica spent the summer of 2013 working in the Borovik lab at UC-Irvine, developing novel first row transition metal complexes and assessing their reactivity in C–H Functionalization systems.

Jessica continued her research in the MacBeth lab, until her graduation in 2015.

In 2015 Jessica weas accepted into the chemistry graduate program at Boston University, joining the Doerrer Group.
