Monya joined the CCHF in April of 2013. She served as the Director of Education, Outreach and Diversity until December of 2015. Monya helped to organize and coordinate the diverse portfolio of programs within the CCHF.

In 2016 Monya returned to the NSF as a Program Director in the Division of Research on Learning in Formal and Informal Settings.
