Masayuki Wasa was a graduate student in the Yu group between 2009 and 2013.
Masayuki worked on a range of collaborative projects investigating the reaction of Pd-catalyzed directed C–H Functionalization and the development of new ligand systems to enable reactions.
In 2013 Masayuki moved to the Jacobsen Group at Harvard University as a JSPS Postdoctoral Fellow. In 2015 Masayuki began his independant research career as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Boston College.
