The CCHF had a good presence at the 2013 Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Students in Nashville, TN, this November.

Our EOD Director, Monya Ruffin and Omar Villaneuva, from the MacBeth Group at Emory, travelled to the Conference. In collaboration with the Emory Laney Graduate School they were on-hand to discuss the Center for Chemical Innovation model with potential graduate students.

Over 3000 undergraduates students, graduate students and Faculty members attended the conference, with over 150 visiting the booth specifically. It was a very productive networking event and great exposure for the the Center.
