CCHF Postdoctoral Fellow, Solymar Negretti, spent the day at the Barry University Department of Chemistry and Physics in Miami, Florida, hosted by Dr. Tamara Hamilton, meeting with students and faculty and presenting an overview of the Center, C–H Functionalization, and her research on Dirhodium Chiral Catalyst Development in the Davies group

Over 30 faculty and undergraduate students attended the talk entitled “Synthesis and applications of dirhodium catalysts in carbene chemistry”, which was followed by an informal session with students (hosted by thechemistry club) to talk about her path to PhD and postdoc and how the students could engage with the CCHF integrative activities.
