As part of the 2018 Atlanta Science Festival, the CCHF partnered with The Story Collider. The Story Collider brings together true and personal stories about science together. Each year they host dozens of live shows all over the United States, featuring all kinds of storytellers – researchers, doctors, and engineers, along with patients, poets and comedians.

On March 12th the CCHF hosted a show in Atlanta as part of the Science Festival programming. Introduced by CCHF Director, Huw Davies, Robert Kubiak, a graduate student from Emory University was part of the line-up talking about their experiences on big surprises in science.

Talking to a sold out crowd, with a packed room, all speakers gave interesting and engaging accounts on experiences that changed the way they look and think about the science they do, even long after the initial surprise. Check out the Story Collider website for more stories about science.
