Elizabeth Bess was a graduate student in the Sigman group at the University of Utah from 2010 to 2014.
Working in the Center she helped investigate some of the subtle factors that impact selectivity in C–H Functionalization, served as a member of the Student Advisory board and spent six months working at Novartis in Switzerland exploring new techniques to guide the development of enzymes with new reactivity.
