Guillaume LaPointe was a postdoctoral scholar in the Stoltz Group between 2012 and 2013.

Guillaume worked on the synthesis of the tetrahydroisoquinoline antitumor antibiotic Jorumycin, employing C–H functionalization as a key step in the union of a convergent strategy.

In 2013 Guillaume joined the Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research in San Francisco.
