Science Festivals are celebrations of the passions and explorations of science local to the area. The CCHF has built a program of materials and activities to convey the cutting-edge science we are performing across the country to the general public at these events.
With activities happening across the United States we are able to broadly impact the public, with talks and presentations that discuss the general concepts central to C–H Functionalization, such as catalysis and sustainability, to interactive demo's for kids to learn more about these ideas.
Each group within the Center brings a different flavor and focus to their activities at local Science Festivals, while discussing the core ideas of CCHF research depending on the festival you attend you can learn more about total synthesis, catalyst development, new reactor design or the importance of developing new synthetic techniques.
Check out our reports to learn more about our past and upcoming activities.
