Emory Undergraduate Chapter held a science-career panel discussion from Dr. Minh Nguyen, M.D. as well as two members of the Laney Graduate School including Kathryn Chepiga representing CCHF.

The three panelists discussed their respective paths to graduate school or medical school, describing how they first became interested in science, why they decided to pursue an education in their respective fields, what challenges they faced along the way, where they see themselves in the next 5 years and what challenges they forsee in the future.

The panelists also provided suggestions to the undergraduate members of AWIS@Emory regarding pursuing careers in STEM-related fields as well as opportunities for undergraduates within NSF CCHF.
