Keary Engle was a graduate student in the Yu group between 2009 and 2011.
Keary worked on a range of collaborative projects investigating the reaction of Pd-catalyzed directed C–H Functionalization.
In 2011 Keary moved to the Gouverneur Group at Oxford University in the UK to complete his PhD. In 2013 Keary began a postdoctoral fellowship in the group of Robert Grubbs.
In 2015 Keary began his independant research career, joining the faculty at The Scripps Research Institute.
