10/2015

The SACNAS National Conference is the annual meeting of the Society for Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS). The SACNAS national conference inspires, engages, and trains you to achieve your highest goals in pursuing an education and career in the STEM fields.

The CCHF, in collaboration with other NSF-CCI's, ran a booth at the 2015 SACNAS National Meeting in order to recruit undergraduate students from under-represented groups to our respective summer research programs.

The CCHF was well represented at this meeting in Washington D.C.; Monya Ruffin, Kelly Kim, a grad student from the Stoltz group, Julian West, a grad student from the Sorensen Group, Brian Stoltz and Erik Sorensen were at the meeting to talk about CCHF science.
