Martins was a Postdoc in the Du Bois Group between 2013 - 2014. Martins worked in collaboration with the Sigman group to help rationalize and understand the site-selectivity in nitrene C–H insertion.
In 2014 Martins joined AstraZeneca as a Research Scientist and in 2016 moved to Pfizer as a Senior Scientist.
