Adrian Varela-Alvarez was a postdoctoral scholar in the Musaev Group at Emory University between 2010 and 2013.
Adrian worked on a range of collaborative projects, including the design of novel iridium-catalysts, insights into the mechanism of carbene C–H insertion and the development of first-row transition metal catalysts.
In 2013 Adrian secured a position as a Senior Scientist with AstraZeneca at their Boston site.
