Yajing Lian was a Graduate student in the Davies Group between 2008 - 2012.
Yajing explored the reactivity of carbene C–H insertion reactions, in particular the unique reactivity profile of vinyl carbenes. Employing experimental and theoretical guidance this work significantly expanded the scope of this system.
In 2012 Yajing began a Postdoctoral fellowship in the Group of Jonathan Ellman at Yale. In 2014 Yajing moved to work at Pfizer Inc.
